چکیده

Visual analytics aims to provide technology that combines the strengths of human and electronic data processing. Visualization is the medium through which humans and computers cooperate. Such a synergistic cooperation is required for analyzing spatiotemporal data and solving spatio-temporal problems. In the modern society, spatiotemporal analysis is not solely the business of professional analysts. There are many other people who need or would be interested to do this kind of analysis. Researchers should find approaches to deal with the complexities of the current data and problems and find ways to make analytical tools accessible and usable for the broad community of potential users.
